Ben is passionate about implementing and crafting disruptive marketing strategies. With a creative flair and a solution-focused approach to marketing problems, Ben is a media buyer for social and search campaigns at EDGE. His focus is on performance and bringing long-term results for our marketing partners.
Background
With a degree in Journalism, Ben’s abilities in telling and writing stories rapidly evolved into a passion for marketing and corporate communication. With his experience in in-house integral marketing roles, he was able to craft omnichannel campaigns within the tourism and entrepreneurship industries.
Ben’s experience across digital channels and message development allowed him to specialise in performance marketing, where he mixes his creativity and analytical skills to implement and optimise campaigns that deliver results.
What does Ben's day look like
Most of Ben’s day goes towards developing innovative paid media strategies and optimising his high-performing campaigns.
He also works closely with the design team to craft multimedia content that aligns with each brand, effectively communicating their messages and achieving measurable results.
When Ben isn’t on the tools he’s helping the rest of the team within his role as Supervisor. Within this capacity, he has a focus on quality control, supporting the team with new solutions to their client problems, and communicating directly with clients to ensure they get the right answers to their questions.


What Ben gets up to outside of work
Outside working hours, you can find Ben surfing at the points or beach breaks of the Gold Coast. He likes long walks through the coast with his partner if the ocean is flat. During the long weekends, Ben enjoys going on camping trips with friends and exploring Australia.
And if it’s too rainy to do any of the above? He just chills at home with his partner – BBQs, watching shows, or playing PS5.
